Which Hub Will I Get?

Most new Virgin Media broadband customers will receive the Hub 5, which is the standard router for new installations. If you're on a Gig2 package, you'll definitely get the Hub 5 as it's the only router that supports those speeds.

Some existing customers on older packages may still have a Hub 3 or Hub 4. You can request an upgrade to Hub 5 if you upgrade your broadband package, though there may be a fee involved.

If you're experiencing poor WiFi performance with an older hub, upgrading to Hub 5 can make a significant difference, especially if you have many devices or a larger home.

Hub 5 Benefits

  • More Devices: Handles 100+ connected devices efficiently.
  • Lower Latency: Improved responsiveness for gaming and video calls.
  • Smart Channel Selection: Automatically optimizes WiFi performance.
