Generally speaking, BT Full Fibre 100 is your best value-for-money option in the BT range. Download speeds on BT Full Fibre 100 broadband can reach up to 150 Mbps and everything in between. Should you be put off by these reviews? Quite honestly, we don’t believe you should. Put into context, BT has approximately 9.4 million broadband customers, and the UK’s largest market share at 33.6%. So those reviews in total represent just 0.15% of all BT customers and an even smaller percentage of BT broadband customers.

Mbps stands for Megabits per second, which measures data transfer speed. In contrast, Megabytes (MB) is a unit of digital information storage. To convert from Mbps to MB/s (Megabytes per second), you need to divide by 8 because there are 8 bits in a byte.

Assuming your BT Smart Hub 2 (or equivalent) is correctly set up, BT’s Full Fibre 100 connection can support streaming on 50 to 85 devices simultaneously at 720p (HD Ready), given a 1.76 – 2.00 Mbps requirement per second for 720p HD. If you increase the resolution to Full HD (1080p), which is ideal for watching movies, it requires 2.64 – 3.12 Mbps per second. This means you can stream on 32 to 57 devices concurrently.
