Should You Wait?

Black Friday deals vs. Standard offers.

Get it if...

  • You are out of contract and currently paying 'standard' expensive rates.
  • You want high-value incentives like £100+ Amazon or Pre-paid Mastercard vouchers.
  • You are looking for the 'Gigabit' packages which see the deepest cuts.
  • You want a premium TV bundle (Sky Glass/Stream) at its lowest historical price.

Skip it if...

  • You need internet immediately (it can take 2 weeks to install).
  • You are still in contract and would pay £100+ in early exit fees.
  • You only need basic, cheap broadband (budget deals don't change much).

The Bottom Line

"If you are out of contract by October, wait for Black Friday. If you need it for working from home NOW, don't wait—the £5/mo saving won't cover the cost of lost work."

The Black Friday Survival Guide

01

Watch for 'Fake' Discounts

Some providers raise prices in October just to 'lower' them for Black Friday. We use 12-month price tracking to ensure every deal on this page is genuinely a yearly low.

02

Reward Cards Need Claiming

Most Black Friday vouchers (BT, EE) are not sent automatically. You usually have to wait 30 days after installation and then 'claim' them through a portal. Don't forget!

03

Total Contract Cost

A Black Friday deal often spans 24 months. Remember to calculate your total spend, as price rises in April will still apply regardless of how good the initial deal looks.

04

New Customers Only?

95% of these deals are for new customers. If you're with Sky, look at Virgin or BT. If you're with BT, look at Sky. 'Switcher' deals are where the real Black Friday magic happens.

Don't Get Trapped by Exit Fees

Before switching for a Black Friday deal, check your current contract end date. A £200 exit fee will wipe out any savings you make on a new deal. Most providers allow you to switch without penalty within the last 30 days of your contract.
